Someone else's Presentation Post

Honesty, I liked all the presentations in the class. All the students talked about a lot of different stuff. For Example, google glasses, automatic driving cars by different companies, amazon new delivering packages techniques and more. In all of the presentations I liked the presentation about the automatic driving cars.

  1. 1.   The guys talked about the Companies like Mercedes, BMW, and Tesla have already released, or are soon to release, self-driving features that give the car some ability to drive itself.
  2. 2.   Tech companies are also trying to pioneer the self-driving car. Recently, Google announced that it would be testing its prototype of a driverless car on roads this summer in California.
  3. 3.   He also showed us the pictures of cares too a brief summary.
  4. 4.   He talked about the facts and description about the old self driving car.
  5. 5.   the economic impact that self-driving cars can have and look at the current barriers preventing the self-driving car from coming to market.
  6. 6.   Some of these cars are already released and some of them will be available in the market with in 5 years or more.
  7. Its was really a detailed presentation. I really liked it because I just herd about them but never seen and herd that much detail.

What Makes a Community and does Tech Provides

First I don’t really understand what this is blog about after researching I figure it out that it’s a blog about what does technology provide to make a community. I think the role of technology in a post-modernist account is one of having created a condition which dissolves the very fundaments of modernity, universality and the stable referentiality of the sign.

This is the single most important effect of technology and the explorations of this effect often take precedence over questions of how this condition came about or how it is maintained. Paradoxically, while generally critical to the concept of a coherent reality, the reality of technology is, by and large, taken for granted and the ramifications of the newly created hyper-reality are presented as the privileged aspect from which the current situation must be understood.

In the Information Society technology and society do interpenetrate each other to such an extend that they cannot be separated anymore. Looking at society, one finds that technology plays a role in almost all of its aspects. By investigating technology one finds the social arrangement, those which it embodies and those in which it is applied. It is therefore necessary to think of technology and society at the same time as they spiral into and out of each other. To understand the role of technology it seems promising to conceptualize technology as a process in which society is reorganizing itself into ever new forms.
